Why Attorneys Choose Us

We Did the Research So Your Clients Don't Have To — And Neither Do You

When you refer to The Siegel Law Group, you're not sending your client into the unknown. Here is exactly what makes this firm the right call for South Florida Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Probate matters — and why attorneys keep referring back.

📋

We Guide Clients Through Funding Their Trust

A signed trust document means nothing if the client's assets are never transferred into it. The Siegel Law Group walks every client through the funding process step by step — coordinating the re-deeding of real estate, the re-titling of accounts, and the updating of beneficiary designations — so the plan they paid for actually works when it's needed.

3-Year Plan Reviews — Included

Life changes. Laws change. The Siegel Law Group proactively reviews every client's estate plan every three years and adjusts for family changes, asset changes, and Florida law changes. This is a relationship, not a transaction. Your referral never goes stale.

Florida-Specific Expertise — 24 Years

Florida's Estate Planning laws are not like other states. Homestead protections, Lady Bird deeds, the elective share statute (§732.201), and Florida-specific Probate rules require attorneys who live and practice here every day. Barry Siegel's team has never practiced anywhere else.

100+ combined years of experience
🎓

Free Educational Seminars

The Siegel Law Group offers free seminars for clients and their loved ones, covering Estate Planning, Elder Law, and Medicaid Planning topics. It's a low-pressure way for your clients and their families to get educated before they ever sit down for a consultation.

Open to clients & families
🤝

We Stay in Our Lane. Always.

Estate Planning, Elder Law, Medicaid Planning, and Probate only. The Siegel Law Group does not practice Personal Injury, Family Law, Business Law, or anything that would create a conflict with the attorneys who refer to them. Your client relationship is protected — for every other legal need, that client remains yours.

Zero cross-referral conflict

Referral Fees & Co-Counsel

You Refer the Client.
We Protect Their Interests - And Yours.

Siegel Law Group PA actively accepts case referrals and enters into co-counsel agreements with eligible attorneys. All fee-sharing agreements strictly adhere to Florida Bar Rule 4-1.5, including standard percentage caps for contingency matters, written client disclosure, and mutual agreement before representation begins.

Have questions before you refer? Call us directly at (561) 559-6232 and ask for Barry or the referral coordinator. The first conversation is always confidential.

⚖️

Referring Attorneys

Referral fees are paid in compliance with Florida Bar Rule 4-1.5(g) fee-splitting requirements. A written referral fee agreement is executed before the matter begins, and the arrangement is fully disclosed to the client. Fee is based on a percentage of the total fee earned on the referred matter.

Florida Bar Compliant
🤝

Co-Counsel Arrangements

For matters that call for it — Medicaid Planning tied to a Personal Injury settlement, or estate issues arising out of a Family Law matter — we're glad to serve as co-counsel rather than a straight referral. Your client relationship and involvement are preserved throughout.

By Arrangement
🌐

Out-of-State Attorneys

Clients who moved to Florida from other states frequently need their estate plans rebuilt for Florida law. We welcome referrals from attorneys in New York, Ohio, Massachusetts, and other states whose clients have relocated, and compensate accordingly where permitted by both states' bar rules.

Cross-State Welcome
Disclosure: Referral fees are paid only to Florida-licensed attorneys, and only in a manner consistent with Rule 4-1.5(g) and Rule 4-7.22 of the Florida Rules of Professional Conduct. The Siegel Law Group, P.A. does not pay referral compensation to non-attorneys or in any manner that would constitute improper fee-splitting. Every arrangement is documented in writing and fully disclosed to the client before the referral is accepted.

Common Questions From Referring Attorneys

What Other Attorneys Ask Before They Refer

Not at all. Most of our referring attorneys practice in a completely different area — Personal Injury, Family Law, Business Law, Tax, Real Estate, Criminal Defense, and Immigration are the most common. You don't need to diagnose the Estate Planning issue; you just need to recognize that your client could use help, and send them our way.
We're always glad to hear from CPAs, financial advisors, and other professionals whose clients could benefit from our services, and we welcome those introductions. However, under Florida Bar rules, referral fees can only be paid to other licensed attorneys — so this referral program and its compensation are specifically for attorneys. Non-attorney professionals who'd like to send a client our way are welcome to reach out directly at (561) 559-6232.
No. The Siegel Law Group practices exclusively in Estate Planning, Elder Law, Medicaid Planning, and Probate & Trust Administration. We do not practice Personal Injury, Family Law, business litigation, or any other area that could create a conflict with your existing relationship with the client. Your client remains your client for everything else.
A written referral fee agreement is executed before the matter begins, consistent with Florida Bar Rule 4-1.5(g). Your fee is based on a percentage of the total fee earned on the referred matter, and it's paid once that matter closes and fees are collected. Call us directly if you'd like the specifics before sending your first client.
Select "Not Sure — Needs Consultation" on the referral form. Our intake team will ask a few clarifying questions when we speak with your client and route them to the right attorney internally.
Yes, always. Any referral fee arrangement is fully disclosed to the client in writing prior to engagement, consistent with Florida Bar Rules. Transparency protects you, the client, and our firm.
